HR professional: Outsourcing Shared Services Centre to Prague!

As a result of increasing globalisation, it increasingly often happens that company activities are moved to different countries and parts of the world. This also happened at NCR and Gerard den Hollander from Sincere supervised this process. The FSSC (EMEA Financial Shared Services Centre), consisting of about 90 employees was moved to Prague and transferred to Accenture via an outsourcing deal.

This was an enormously fascinating task, as it is necessary to take into account the multicultural composition of the organization, the wishes of the American parent organization, the local works council and legislation. All this resulted in local consequences for occupancy, the social plan and an intensive supervision process for employees to a different job outside the organization. In view of the many cultures, sensitivity was essential for this task in order to anticipate matters at the right moment.
