Transition process AT&T - IBM
AT&T and IBM, two global players in IT & Telecom. AT&T has now developed to become a global market leader with 300,000 employees, the majority in the US. There it is active in particular as a telecom provider, but in the rest of the world it is above all an organization for network services. AT&T is currently working on the global transition of IBM global networks. Various Sincere project managers, including Marike Balster, Norbert Dolstra and Gerard den Hollander from Sincere were responsible for preparing the NL transition and implementing it on the basis of a global project organization. This entails a careful due diligence process, a comparison of the working conditions and their harmonization, coordination with social partners and works councils, coordination between the parent organization and the management of the IBM organization, the responsibility for communication and finally ensuring a trouble-free takeover process of approximately 100 employees in the NL organization. This is a fascinating but vulnerable HR process in which everything has to be done very carefully.
